Cartooning Club

Students in 3rd and 4th grade will learn to draw their favorite cartoon characters!

Collins Cares

This club is geared towards 3rd grade students who are interested in doing meaningful projects for the school and our community! This club is sponsored by Mrs. Melbourn and Ms. Kuhn.

Collins Choir

Collins Choir is a singing group for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.  Participants will learn songs to perform at our annual Concert on Thursday April 24th at Frost Jr. High.  Participation in choir is limited to 50 members total.  Mrs. Carvell, Mrs. Speedy, and Mrs. Fitzgerald hope to see you in choir!

Collins STEM Club

Attention 4th and 5th graders! Do you love to build things or explore how physics works? In Collins Stem club, this is what we will do! We will be using various materials to build contraptions that will hold weight and keep an egg from cracking.

Creative Writing Club

Calling all 4th Graders. Does your child enjoy writing and creating stories? Join Mrs. Gladstone and Mrs. Melbourn in Creative Writing Club. Students will show their creativity through a variety of fun writing prompts and activities.

Doodle, Draw and Design

Does your 2nd grader love to doodle, design, and draw? Then this club is for them! Students will use their creativity to explore art in a fun way.

Kindness Club

In Kindness Club we wil spread kindness at Collins school! We will read books, watch videos, makes crafts, and complete projects that will spread kindness at our school.

Lego Club

(session 2) Students can start their morning in a fun and creative way while working with others. We will be building, playing and strengthening their fine motor skills using legos.

Monarch Mosaics

Students in grades 4 through 6, who attend this club, will actively participate in creating a beautiful Monarch mosaic masterpiece. If your child loves Monarch butterflies and would like to participate in a group art project that will hang proudly in the hallway of Collins Elementary School, this club is the PERFECT choice!  NEW FOR WINTER – We will also have chess and backgammon available for those who wish to take a break from working on the mosaic!

Morning Mindfulness

In Morning Mindfulness we will start the week by calming our minds and bodies. This will include mindful movement and breathing, sensory activities, gratitude practice, and positive affirmations.

Multicultural Club

Our clubs goal is to spotlight all of the amazing cultures around the world. This 5th and 6th grade club will create meaningful projects that revolve around several different culture’s traditions and holidays. We are so lucky to learn and 

grow in a diverse community here at Collins.

Rocketry

Rocketry is a STEM based club where students get to participate in NASA-generated activities, build and construct their own rocket, and launch their rocket at Olympic Park in May. Students in grades 5 and 6 who have already participated in Rocketry in the past will have the opportunity to build a different type of rocket with the Year 2 session.

Fun with Fitness

In Fun with Fitness, we will learn how fun exercise can be! We will move our bodies while exploring different forms of exercise such as: aerobics, yoga, dance, strength training and so much more! It is our goal to create exercise habits that can be incorporated into your daily life. You will learn why it is important to move our bodies daily and just how fun it can be! This is a club for Kinder, 1st and 2nd grades
