Collins Grade Level of the Month
For the month of March, we are spotlighting:
second GRADE!
Ms. Lejman’s room 108 Fun Facts
- We have a class pet named Bubbles.
- We love to watch Bluey on hot lunch days.
- The majority of us have a winter birthday.
- Our favorite part of the week is Fun Friday.
- We are big readers and are always excited when our monthly book bag from the Schaumburg Library arrives.
- We have a lot of fun and always look forward to meeting up with our 5th grade buddies.
- We have a class tradition and each month we take a group photo and hang it up in our classroom.

- We have 24 students – 14 boys, 10 girls
- We have 32 siblings – 16 brothers, 16 sisters
- Gym is our favorite special
- We have 37 pets

- Friday is our favorite day! We start the day with a Class Family Fun Day and end the day with 2nd Grade Fun Friday!

- We have 11 Girls and 13 Boys.

- We play many sports: gymnastics, football, softball, soccer, basketball, ballet, tennis, wrestling, cricket, badminton, taekwondo, baseball, swimming, volleyball, jujitsu, and ice skating.
- We love playing video games like Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnight, Fall Guys, Pokemon Go, Istanbul Guys, COD, Madden, Mario Brothers games.
- Other hobbies include: reading, baking, cooking, crafting, shopping, wood working, Legos, coloring, board games, card games, and watching movies, shows and videos.
- 10 of us are the oldest child in our family. 3 of us are middle children. 7 of us are the youngest. 4 of us are only children.

Ms. miller’s room 111 Fun Facts
- We have 24 students in Room 111.
- We speak 14 different languages.
- We love sports and play 12 different sports, including cricket and ping pong.
- We love animals and many of us have a pet at home.
- We love to read. Some of our favorite books are Dogman, Catman, Bad Guys, The Book with No Pictures and Garfield.
- In our spare time we like to create our own books, write and read about different countries, use rulers and do science experiments.
