This October Collins School Student Ambassadors want to prove that even the smallest act of caring, like donating a pair of new socks, can help make a huge difference in the lives of our neighbors who are in need!
SOCKTOBER is a national sole warming movement that gives everyone an easy and fun way to help those in need within their very own town via a new pair of socks!
So why should you participate in SOCKTOBER? Because every night in the United States an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets and need simple things, like socks, to help get them through the night.
NEW socks can be dropped off outside of classrooms in the box labeled SOCKTOBER from 10/14 – 10/17. These socks will then be donated to Journeys in Palatine. Please help our Student Ambassadors help those in need!
