Good morning Collins Community,

What a fantastic full week of learning and growing we have had! Our classrooms were full of energy, curiosity, and high achievement as our students worked hard showing they believe in themselves and their potential.

During our recent half day, our entire school focused on strengthening our culture where every child feels they truly belong. Students participated in a variety of engaging activities, including a hands-on STEM challenge, special time connected with their buddy classrooms, and much more. It was wonderful to see older and younger students collaborating, laughing, and learning alongside one another.

We also conducted a practice fire drill this morning, and our students and staff did an outstanding job! Everyone moved quickly, quietly, and safely, completing the entire drill in under two minutes.

We are so proud of everyone’s hard work, focus, and commitment to helping our students succeed while keeping school fun and interesting. Thank you for your continued partnership and support.

To help our school day run smoothly, we kindly ask families to send lunches with their students in the morning whenever possible. With our large student population, managing the high volume of lunch drop-offs throughout the day creates some challenges for our main office staff. We frequently receive deliveries that lack student names, which adds a time-consuming layer to our sorting and delivery process. Ensuring your child arrives with their lunch in hand helps keep our front office focused on the many other daily operations while guaranteeing your student receives their meal on time. Thank you for your support and understanding!
