Dear Collins Community!

We had a wonderful week of learning and fun at Collins.  Especially when the weather allowed us to go outside and play in the snow!  Students continued to work collaboratively and decorate the door to their classrooms with a winter theme. We have all enjoyed walking the hallways to see how other classrooms have decided to decorated.

Just a reminder to please  send your child(ren) dressed for the colder temperatures. Students go outside for recess daily unless conditions warrant otherwise. We do not send students outside if the temperature or wind chill is 0 degrees or below. We encourage you to label your child’s hats, scarves, gloves, snow pants, and boots to ensure we can return anything that goes missing and is found.  If you need assistance with winter weather gear, please reach out to the main office.

We hope you all have a wonderful three Day weekend! As a reminder, school is closed on Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Students return to school on Tuesday January 22nd.
