We hope you all are having a great week so far.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the generous donations we have received so far for our St Jude Children’s Research Hospital fundraiser. Your support has truly made a difference, and it has been inspiring to see our students get involved in such meaningful ways. In fact, some of our students even went above and beyond by organizing their own lemonade stand to contribute. This is an incredible example of initiative and community spirit!
Today is the final day to help us reach our goal of earning a whole-school movie day. Every contribution counts, and we are so close, thank you for helping us get there. If you would like to donate, see the information below.
The Fun Fair is on! We are so appreciative of all the volunteers who have dedicated their time to make our Fun Fair happen tonight. Your efforts make events like this possible. We are excited and are looking forward to a fantastic evening together as a community.
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week. We will be thanking the Collins staff for their kindness, effort and dedication to our students each day. Please ask your child to spread some gratitude to their teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, office staff and lunch supervisors. We value their impact on our students and your partnership with us to make Collins such an amazing place to be.
Additionally, we are proud to share that our students are doing a great job showing growth on their MAP tests. Their hard work and perseverance is truly paying off. We will continue with our reading assessments next week.
