Students having fun at school.
Good afternoon Collins Community,

As we wrap up another exciting week at school, we want to take a moment to celebrate the many accomplishments and memorable experiences our students have shared together.

We recently completed our spring MAP assessments, and we are incredibly proud of our students and the growth and achievements they demonstrated. Their hard work, perseverance, and dedication to learning continue to shine each and every day. Thank you to our teachers and families for your ongoing support throughout the school year.

Our Rocketry Club students had an amazing experience attending the rocket launch at Olympic Field on Tuesday. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to see science and engineering come to life, and they represented our school with enthusiasm and curiosity.

On Wednesday, we were thrilled to welcome our incoming Kindergarten students and their families. It was so exciting to meet our newest Crusaders! We cannot wait for them to begin their educational journey with us, and we look forward to all the joy and energy they will bring to our school community in August.

We also enjoyed an incredible Field Day yesterday! The beautiful weather and lots of school spirit made the day just perfect. Students had a fantastic time participating in events and cheering each other on. A special thank you goes out to Mr. Cahoj, Mr. Berg and the many volunteers who helped make the day such a success. Your support and time was deeply appreciated.

Last evening, we had the honor of recognizing two of our staff members who will be retiring at the end of this school year, Mrs. Shanahan and Ms. Ferguson. These dedicated paraprofessionals have given so much of themselves to our students, staff, and school community over the years. Their compassion, support, and commitment have made a lasting impact on countless lives. We are deeply grateful for all they have done and wish them nothing but happiness, health, and new adventures in their retirement. Congratulations and thank you for your years of service!

As a reminder, we have a half day on Wednesday, May 20th. All students are dismissed at 11:40 AM.
